A Habitation of the Presence of God
We are a tabernacle of His dwelling, expressed both individually and corporately. Our highest priority is to know the love of God, to love Him in return, and to love mankind in spirit and truth. We strive to wholeheartedly embrace the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle as encouraged by Jesus in Matthew 5-7.
Located on the highest ground overlooking Dallas, Prayer Mountain is a special place to foster intimacy with the Lord through ceaseless worship and prayer.
Intercessory Prayer and Solemn Assemblies
We mobilize the Body of Christ to fast and pray for revival in the spirit of Joel 2: 12-17. The regional Church of Dallas/FortWorth gathers here daily for targeted intercession in corporate prayer meetings. Our prayer topics contend for national breakthrough in the areas of family, religion, government, business, educations, media, arts/entertainment. We also covenant to pray regularly for leaders, Israel, revival and the ending of abortion in America, the salvation of souls, and personal/physical healings. Visit our Intercessor's Area to find out times of specific prayer targets.
Multi-Cultural, Multi-Generational Community
Prayer Mountain has a specific assignment to raise up a mutli-cultural, multi-generational house of prayer in the Southwest Dallas area. The Lord has charged us to serve the African-American and Latino community in Dallas. We believe they are sovereignly called as leaders in righteousness and justice in America.
As we contend for the fullness of this vision in the house of prayer, we embrace the diversity of sound and cultures expressed in worship and prayer. This is a place to ‘build up the wall’ of prayer as one company, such as Nehemiah and the Israelites did while restoring the temple and the wall of Jerusalem.
Holiness | Walking as Mature Sons
We are a community that affirms wholehearted pursuit of obedience to God. We desire to be holy as He is holy by daily taking up the cross of Christ (Leveticus 19:2, Luke 9:23). We hold this to be the true path of Christianity that bears much fruit for the glory of God. We believe our inheritance is to express God's glory on earth and to walk in the "greater works" mentioned by Jesus in John 14:12.
Missions
Souls reaped in outreach are the spoils of war won in the place of prayer. We believe prayer and missions should naturally be partnered together. Leaders of the World Prayer Center often lead regular outreaches to our local community. We also equip this new generation of missionaries for end-time ministry in the earth.
